Tour De Hope

The Mike Darby Memorial Golf Tournament was created four months after Mike was killed walking his dogs on the bike/walking trail off 103rd and Wornall Road on May 18th, 2017. Sunday, October 1st, 2023 will mark the 7th annual Mike Darby Memorial Tournament. This tour1stnament is meant to honor Mike and keep his memory and his dream of helping others alive.

The proceeds from the Golf Tournament will go to the Mike Darby Memorial Scholarship Fund at Rockhurst High School (Mike's Alma Mater) and to Tour De Hope, a non-profit organization which Mike founded in 2002. Tour de Hope supporst the Hope Center, located in KCMO, whose sole mission is to supply much needed resources to the inner city community.
